Compare the build on your phone with the current Bangladesh channel package. This page lists v5.6.6 (about 31.5 MB, updated ) and earlier notes down to v5.6.2 so you know when to update or reinstall.
From the live build v5.6.6 down through archived builds to v5.6.2.
Current Bangladesh channel build (about 31.5 MB, ARM often near 21.9 MB), updated 23 October 2026.
Previous release kept for comparison when a phone still reports 5.6.5 in app info.
Archived build in the taka3 history list.
Older archive useful when diagnosing a phone that has not updated for a long time.

Use size together with the version code in Android App info to confirm you downloaded the intended build.
| Build | Typical size | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| v5.6.6 (standard) | ≈ 31.5 MB | Current default APK for most phones · updated |
| v5.6.6 (ARM) | ≈ 21.9 MB | Lighter package common on many ARM devices - same live version target |
| Older channel line | ≈ 25.8 MB | Reference size for older builds - prefer v5.6.6 unless you are only comparing history |
If App info shows an older version, or the finished download is far outside these sizes, open the APK page and update - do not install a random smaller "fast" file from chat.
Use this guide before you download an older build "just to try".
v5.6.6 is the current channel target (about 31.5 MB / ARM 21.9 MB, updated 23 October 2026).
Builds from v5.6.5 to v5.6.2 are listed so you can recognise what App info already shows.
Choose a full reinstall when update overlays fail or the app will not open after an old build.
Most Bangladesh update problems are incomplete files, storage, or permission - not a need to downgrade.
Delete the partial APK, retry on Wi-Fi, and confirm about 31.5 MB or 21.9 MB ARM before Install.
Free space for the package plus unpack room, then run the updater again.
Allow install from this source for your browser or file manager, finish v5.6.6, then you can turn extra toggles off.
Uninstall the old copy and do a clean install from the APK page instead of hunting older builds.
Confirm App info shows v5.6.6. If it still shows an older code, reinstall the current package before changing passwords repeatedly.
Version tells you which build to aim for; APK tells you how to download and install it.
| Page | Use it when | What you do next |
|---|---|---|
| Version (this page) | You need to compare phone App info with v5.6.6 and older notes | Decide whether to update, reinstall, or stay on the current build |
| APK | You are ready to download and install the package | Follow download, permission, and first-open steps for v5.6.6 |
| Official | A link or file looks suspicious | Match domain, logo, and size before returning to APK |
Typical flow: check Version → verify on Official if unsure → install from APK. If the site will not open, use Alternative first, then repeat the checks.
Two approaches when the phone build does not match this page.
Install v5.6.6 over the older build when the app still opens normally.
Use a clean install when updates fail or the app will not open.

Open Android app info for taka3, read the version code, and compare it with the list above. If it differs, update or reinstall from the verified APK path.
Older builds can miss fixes included in v5.6.6 and may break login or OTP flows. Updating keeps your phone aligned with the current Bangladesh channel package.
Install current v5.6.6 (about 31.5 MB or ARM 21.9 MB). Older entries on this page are for comparison with App info, not preferred downloads.
Common causes are a truncated download, low storage, or missing install permission. Fix those, or uninstall and reinstall v5.6.6 from the APK page - do not downgrade.
No. Installing an older build over v5.6.6 can break Login and OTP and is not the Bangladesh channel target. If something fails, reinstall the current v5.6.6 package (about 31.5 MB / ARM 21.9 MB) instead of hunting for older files.
